Hot Tapping Solutions
We provide simple and cost effective alternatives to shutting down pipework systems. Live tappings can be done on most services and many different types of pipe. All works are done by licensed plumbers and qualified welders.
Hot Tapping
We are able to offer Hot Tapping services into most plumbing systems. We commonly work on HVAC systems, Potable and domestic water services and gas lines.
We provide a plugged isolation valve for you to connect to without disrupting the operation of the system. This removes the need to isolate and shut down pipework, reducing the impact on building residents. It also saves time and reduces expenses as systems don't need to be drained and refilled, as well as chemical dosing for HVAC systems. Gas systems do not need to be purged and re commissioned as the system can remain in operation at all times.
Hot Tapping can be done on most pipe varieties either by welding or using permanent tapping clamps. All welding work is done by welders qualified to AS 1796.
All pipework and valve installations are carried out by qualified plumbers with approval from Energy Safe Victoria for works on Gas lines.
Thermowell Insertion
Utilising existing hot tapping equipment and custom made tooling we are able to insert thermowells into pipework without the need for shutdowns. Our finished product leaves the thermowell inserted to the centre of the pipework with no isolation valve, reducing the length of the probe needed.
By using custom made tooling we are able to use various thermowells on most piping systems.
Pipework Fabrication
As licensed plumbers and qualified welders we are able to supply pipework fabrication services to suit a large range of requirements. Our welders are able to fabricate pipework from mild steel, copper or stainless steel using a variety of welding techniques. All work complies with AS 4041, AS 2885 and welders are certified to AS 1796.
